In Drama Queen Workshops, we play with the idea of being, thinking, acting and seeing ourselves as immortal souls who are temporarily having a mortal physical experience. In a playful, imaginative environment, we go deep to unmask the spiritual factors that are impacting our current life experience. Within that context, we explore various reasons we have not been able to control our own narrative to create the lives and manifest the things we want.
Although there is a lot of role play in DQWs, acting experience is not necessary or required. The only prerequisite for players is a willingness to think before believing, and an openness and curiosity to closely examine and understand your beliefs. This eye-opening experience will reveal that you are much more than you think you are, and whatever challenges you are experiencing are much smaller than you think they are.
Interactive DQWs lead players on an eye-opening journey of self-discovery. Along the way, you will pull back the curtain on the character you have been playing for decades, and the props and paths that have distracted you from finding and fulfilling your life purpose.
DQWs teach you how to be your own spiritual guru. They empower you to know the right questions to ask, and find your own answers so you can live a stress-free, disappointment-free life. They are specifically designed for lifelong learners who are not afraid to question everything.
DQW Players are Thinkers. To be clear, all Thinkers are not intellectuals and scholars. Everyone who actively searches for Truth, and is willing to form beliefs based on verifiable, logical information is a Thinker. They create a set of beliefs that are compatible with their personal and moral values.
Thinkers read. They study. They fearlessly ask probing questions. They may need guidance to find their own answers and draw their own logical conclusions; but Thinkers do not blindly accept others’ answers.
DQWs operate on the belief that everything you need to know about yourself, your life purpose and your Higher Power is within you. You will be taught how to connect to this information source, comb through the haphazard pile of other people’s answers you have collected during your lifetime, and determine which make sense to you, not to anyone else in the room. The goal is for you to own your beliefs, rather than borrowing someone else’s or allowing others to scare or guilt-trip you into believing anything.
What you do with your discoveries is up to you. Drama Queen Workshops do not offer, suggest or criticize your beliefs. What is most important is wisdom; the ultimate goal is for you to understand your beliefs and their implications, and avoid the perils of double-mindedness.
You may decide that the beliefs you had when you walked in the door are ones you want to keep. That’s absolutely fine. If you are able to see them with greater clarity, and embrace them with more enthusiasm, I have fulfilled my life purpose.
